Pre-Med Club
The goal of the Carroll College Pre-Medical Club (PMC) is to assist pre-medical students in gaining exposure to the medical field as well as to help with the process of attaining a career in medicine. Applying to medical school is challenging, but the PMC provides a community-based mindset in which students support one another in their pursuit of becoming a doctor. The club also provides students with resources in order to help them on their pre-med journey, which include having guest speakers, providing hands-on experience, educating about the medical school application process, and providing volunteer experiences. The PMC plans to fund the purchase of practice equipment, such as CPR dummies, in order to create hands-on experiences for its members. We also plan to support student travel, including planned trips to the new medical schools in Montana. We would also use funds for marketing purposes in order to boost club activity and membership. With your support, we will be able to continue to foster students’ passions for medicine through interactive events, community service opportunities, and more, while continuing the goal of supporting Carroll’s pre-medical students.
